Additional note on a downside for Bayo triple jump: It's essentially the reason that the "Bayonetta Tax" exists. It can be hard to tell whenever you fail the 4-frame input for the triple jump. This is why you often see Bayonetta players (even high- or top-level players) occasionally SD when recovering: they fail the triple jump input without realizing until it's too late.

It’s so funny to me when I go to locals and people are like “Wait how many resources does she have” then I explain that she has up to four Jumps, two Side B’s, two Up B’s, a (Frame One) Airdodge, and a Wall Jump. And then if she gets hit and hasn’t burned her Double Jump, she gets EVERYTHING back again

I'll go on the record and add a slight asterisk on the BDK section that the acceleration-flip is, to my knowledge, a BDK exclusive thing thanks to how they coded that move. Most other distance boosts from b-reversing side specials come from the positional shift at startup seen with dark pit. Brawler's Suplex has the exact same thing as dark pit, but less pronounced. I suppose that just makes you even more correct on BDK's bullshit being character-exclusive!

You've probably heard this, but I wanted to document it in the comment section.

The problem with dial storage is that while it can set up for stuff such as Monado Cyclone and nair buffer dial storage f-smash. It doesn't have many uses outside of kill confirms and defensive shield art usage. You just don't need it because the way Shulk plays is very non-committal unless it's necessary. You're supposed to use your range, which inherently slows down his gameplay, and that removes the instant need for dial storage. It's just simply more useful to keep an art active to use its benefits than it is to switch mid-combo in most cases. The tech didn't "die"; it was just found that the playstyle it would theoretically enable was suboptimal in comparison to his more optimal semi-aggressive spacing-focused playstyle. That and it's rather technical to pull off mid-match. Most people do try, but that doesn't make its difficulty slightly impractical. The clip from Nicko is a good example of one of the better use cases, but again, you have to set that up and then know exactly when to use it. The problem is that if you're playing the character right, you really don't have a lot of good use cases outside of some pretty cookie-cutter combos(one of which, might I add has an easier-to-use buffered deactivation form that kills only slightly later), and defensive switch-ups/combo-breakers that again are situational. The tech isn't bad, it's just not nearly as useful as we thought.
It is also worth noting that this character is so complicated that, as a community, shulk players aren't even sure people like Kome are even playing him optimally yet. We still have a lot to learn about him as a character.

TL;DR: it's too hard to use for not a lot of benefit outside of a couple of cases.
