Not only is bro an amazing artist, he looks as if Oscar Isaac and Pedro Pascal had a baby

I liked his method of painting one section at a time. He didn't draw the whole head first, but worked from the eyes outward. It would help me to get proportions right.

I took many lessons from him a long time ago at the California Art Institute. A really good teacher. I spent one full year doing one color . He wouldn't allow to use multiple colors until my third year. Grateful for his discipline.
I'm not a great artist but I did get to do many CEOs and board painting for some good $.
He has unbelievable patience.

That discussion about the painters good looks and his cute embarrassment  was real funny 🤣🤣🤣

The artist has real skills

Wow I can't believe I finished this from start to end! Really fun and useful watch. Awesome work

Enjoyed this a lot and bought the course. THANKS!

I can keep replaying this, very useful info …thank you

Apart of watching the making of a masterpiece or learning from a great painter ,what I enjoyed most in today's live is the sweet personality of Aaron and casual rendezvous between you two ❤️❤️

I don’t “like” it - I love it!  I learned so much and laughed with you two on and off throughout!

thanks to this video discovered this pallette and it´s love at first sight not gonna lie... he sold it really well

I always enjoy learning from your channel

So mesmerizing. Almost hypnotic. I just love this...so gorgeous. Groovy is definitely a word for it.... here forever I am happy to paint abstract and my happiness is when my friends can see me the various results of the abstract painting process that I make. 😊 thank you my friend.

Great stream! Sad I missed it.

Yesterday I bought the zorn pallete and needed some info on it I was blessed with this video

Sir you are great 👍, you are my teacher 🤗 and you are my goal 🥅 and you are my inspiration 🤗❤️

This is of course too late for the person inquiring about Pyrrole Red (PR254), but yes it would make an excellent substitute for Cadmium Red without the toxicity! It is lightfast and not-toxic. It is not as opaque as cadmium red but that can be regarded as a positive (it is in my book). Another option is the closely related PR255 (sometimes called Pyrrole Scarlet) which tends to be even more orange (effectively an orange leaning red) which makes a superb substitute for Vermilion which was the original red used by Zorn (he used vermilion, ivory black, lead white and yellow ochre). Vermilion is probably even more toxic than cadmium. I think it is just tradition and familiarity at this point that makes artists cling to the cadmium paints, when equally good, nontoxic pigments exist. BTW Pyrrole Red can also be thought of as Ferrari Red. It is the pigment behind the paint that Ferrari uses on 85% of the cars they sell.

Zorn pallet taught me discipline and has produced some of my best work

great vid, thanks! :D

Just wonderful

I much appreciate the flexibility in discovering that practically all hues can be done with a Zorn palette and those 2-3 additional colors. I always wonder why manufacturers are making an average of 70-80 colors. Than who buys them?
