people’s reaction to blood always sends me

it makes a lot less sense in the day of streaming and makes a lot more sense when you’re listening on vinyl. it’s essentially just a mini bonus track for someone who hasn’t bothered to take their vinyl off after what they believe to be the final track.

hearing sleep live was the closest thing to a religious experience ive had in my life 100/10 would recommend

Oh god, "Blood" was the song made for the CD players back in the day, but now in the streaming era it remind us that good ol' days are kind of gone. Now there are no surprises, no extra tracks... kinda sad. I remember listening to the CD when I just bought it and said "well, that was... wait a minute, why the hell is this thing still going like there's something else?", and THERE WAS something else. Magic, dark and creepy, but magic.

2:50 😭😭😭?? bro LOVED that transition

Now please react to “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love”

Realest reaction to Sleep intro btw

One of my favorite things to do is watch people have a religious experience while listening to this album

"Welcome To The Black Parade" was top of Kerrang's Rock 101 for over a decade. It is still considered by many to be the best song of alternate rock ever. Funnily enough, it even comes up if you type into YouTube "Emo Bohemian Rhapsody" because that's how people see it.

pretty sure Disenchanted got added to the tracklist after the bassist continuously whispered the title in the band members ears while they were sleeping (to convince them to keep it in the line up) LOL

its a good day when I get to see someone hear the breakdown in This is How I Disappear for the first time

MY BRO IS LISENING TO PEAK 2 PEAK BACK 2 BACK

Hearing the end into dead as well as the entirety of sleep in concert is probably the best thing you can ever experience in your life

Did anyone notice that bro moaned at the transition from The End to Dead? It definitely caught me off guard lmao 🤣

So two things if you liked Mama: 1) the "And if you would call me your sweetheart" line was actually sung by Liza Minelli, 2) PLEASE watch a live version from their latest tours, it is the BEST thing I've seen on stage at a concert, full monologue, performance, just 100/10

I know you said he played a lot of different songs but a high school teacher playing teenagers as his seniors walk into class is so funny to me

According to Google, My Chemical Romance was directly inspired to form in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Lead singer Gerard Way witnessed the attacks in New York City, which motivated him to change his life and pursue music to make a difference. Their debut song, "Skylines and Turnstiles," was written about the experience.

Just to say blood was meant to a jump scare at the end of the cd for people that through the silence

Also can you react to the bonus tracks from this album [the 3 on the deluxe, Emily (demo), not that kind of girl (demo), party at the end of the world (demo), all the angels (demo)]

the broad strokes of the album's story are that a young man is diagnosed with terminal cancer, reflects on his life, and in his dying moments is brought back to a memory from his childhood about seeing a marching band with his father. it's debated exactly what "order" the tracks would go in, but it's tentatively accepted that the album's tracks are not in chronological order. there are other more fantastical layers to it if you want to go deeper, but it's all built on this: a man who was not a particularly good person reflecting on his life and misdeeds at the end of his time on earth.

listening this album live healed me
