I got to see Ralph Stanley and meet him once at Hoofers Gospel and Music Barn Lavonia Georgia in around 2000. I got he and Jacks autograph and during the break we all ate supper together in the dining hall. I even carried Jacks bass to the bus for him after the show! It was a night to remember!

I heard his music for the first time on the radio driving through Philadelphia.
I never thought I liked bluegrass but I do now.
