Shima Onsen boasts excellent hot springs, but its prices are high for solo travelers. This time, I've chosen a hot spring inn that's affordable even for solo travelers and includes two meals, so you won't be left without dinner. I'll also be visiting the nearby free (donation-based) hot springs, Kami-no-yu and Kawara-no-yu (Nakanojo Town, Gunma Prefecture). The table of contents is below.
