Welcome to Sanga Stadium by Kyocera - Kyoto's ultra modern football stadium that feels nothing like Europe .
In this video i explore why Sanga Stadium is one of Japan's most unique football grounds , how every single seat is under cover ( without being a dome ) , and why Japanese football culture is completely different from what you see in Europe .
I caught the train from Kyoto station to the ground , where the station is only a 3 minute walk away , this is one of the easiest and most foreigner friendly stadiums in Japan .
I break down the cost of football tickets to a home game , i compare the cost of buying a season ticket to 17 individual tickets to each home game .
I explore the family friendly activities which occur under the stadium stands where the whole family can play , also the hill climbing gym which is available to members .
There is a definite difference when i compare our stadiums back in Australia to how Sanga Stadium is run . The management don't seem to worry if season ticket holders don't attend many games , they say the money is in the bank .
People in Japan are not so determined to attend every home game , maybe because of bad weather , work commitments , family reasons , so therefore the stadium is very rarely sold out with maximum attendance .
If you are travelling Japan , a football fan , or just love exploring weird and wonderful places -Sanga Stadium Kyoto is a must see.
