I feel like adult weekends are what works for butlins right now. I used to go with my children but slowly saw the standards of accommodation and cleanliness slip so we don't visit any more. Those rooms are really only suitable if you're out drinking and doing activities during your waking hours.

I spent so many childhood holidays at Butlins Minehead! Back when it used to have the cablecar going over the top, and before the big white tent. I haven't been since 2002 or as an adult though.

I'll always be grateful to Minehead Butlins. We went there a few days after my dad died, and it was perfect therapy. The kids were happy, ice cream was on-tap, and the walks were beautiful. The chalets were comfy too. That December sea-air was a true tonic. Great place, and great video!

Congratulations for being the only people to stay faithful that weekend! 😂

7 mins in and you convinced me to never book at Butlins! By 13mins this is my nightmare of a holiday place. At 20mins it seems most everything is closed lol.

Great reveiw!
I grew up in minehead, while living, working and partying at butlins.
Can't believe that the rest of oyster bay is still there after they knocked the other half down for the new builds. It was so great to see north hill at the end of the bay.
People should also try the arcades and pubs in the town!

I used to go to Butlines Minehead with my grandparents as a Kid back in the early 00's. Probably some of my most cherished memories. Haven't been back there in over 20 years now so to see your video of the park brings back a lot of good memories. Obviously the park has changed a lot from how I remember it but I do still recognise parts. You both looked like you had a great time and has convinced me I should go back there again one day.

With those dirty sheets, dirty matress and heater not working I'd ask for another room.

Butlins is a mindset and a way of life. We used to go to Skeg when our daughter was little. Priceless. Loved it. Think massive Working Men's Club overrun with kids where everyone is determined to have fun and gets it. Multi generational. Hoping to have grandchildren to go with!

Hi guys, that silent disco looked fun, great price for the all you can eat breakfast 👍. It’s brilliant that there’s no screaming kids. It’s sad the toy shop was closed. A very friendly atmosphere. Both of you are an awesome couple, love your videos. That’s a really good weekend away, I would have asked for cleaner sheets. That was a good deal for the whole weekend. Thank you guys 💝💝👍👍🇬🇧
