🚀 What’s your favorite Sisay variant right now — Pod, Tutor Chain, or Chowder?

The best and worst part about building Sisay is that you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT! It can be overwhelming trying to make cuts, pick combos, or decide on a direction. 😂

Another good chain line worth mentioning is marvin, sakashima and ioreth

Thanks for this. I'm building sisay now because she is so awesome and im using some of the tips you pointed at in the video. I love all the options!

Great video. When I first dipped my toes in Edh I built a budget pod sisay and I’m a big fan of the play style and diversity that the commander brings. Really fun to see your breakdown of combo lines this could help newer players so I appreciate the work done here. I’m newly inspired to see what the top decks look like now that I can confidently find interactions you’ve pointed out. The dead pool/orchard line looks right up my alley. Thanks.

Thanks for the video I just started getting into the deck when you made this, but just now finding it. I appreciate you going over some of the other versions (I run oath lines like a dino)

Hey man, this was an excellent overview! I find myself always coming back to Sisay no matter what decks I build and play. I currently play a chowder variant of Sisay but I don’t run the breach line. I went all in on the card advantage engines, and also run the chatterfang-soultrader combo with or without kambal. My main win conditions involve using Derevi to flicker bowmasters, using Ioreth/Marvin/sakashima to activate Mt doom, good ole thoracle, and sometimes Najeela. I love the deck because of its pivot potential. Agatha’s Soul Cauldron makes the deck super resilient, and you get to play awesome cards like Teferi who slows the sunset haha. Can’t go wrong with good ole Sisay tho!

Awesome to see the breakdown and your thoughts. I love Sisay and it was one of my casual decks that got progressively more powerful and eventually led me to cEDH.
I experimented a lot with a lot of different cEDH decks and then eventually tried Sisay and loved it. I started with the full planeswalker tutor chain line and tested a bunch of changes, eventually removed most of the pkaneswalkers as they were dead draws too often. Now I'm sitting somewhere in between versions where my main line is Derevi Emiel and then infinite mana to win with OBM or Mount Doom. One of the things I love is how flexible it can be and how many new cards it gets as new sets come out.
Testing a few other decks and loving Lumra at the moment, but always keep Sisay together as my go to.

Great video, I was one of the comments asking for it last time so thanks!

Man, what an amazing deck!
You know what would be a great card for that Sisay Pod deck?
BIOPHAGUS! Torgal on steroids! ❤

Awesome video. Question, what version of the deck do you think would be the best if you dont have the element of surprise? I play with the same group of friends all the time, so playing with Sisay is seen as a time bomb that has to be dealt with all the time, so much that getting one activation is crazy hard.
I would guess Clam? Or honestly some times I dont think its the correct commander for the environment.

Thanks for this! Really appreciate the insight as someone building a cedh sisay deck. I do have a random question, if I were to pivot a sisay deck to a bracket 2 deck, what would be a fun win line that you’d suggest?
