having a clear cut goal for a precon upgrade makes the video so much better than other precon upgrade videos!

Squandered resources, orcish lumberjack, krosan wayfarer, nissa resurgent animist, six, icetill explorer, tireless provisioner, crop rotation, exploration and lumra are all MVPs in this deck tbh

- Hew the Entwood is amazing in Daretti since both land, artifacts is great for the deck.
Depending on if you use Hearthhull or Szarel you might want to consider switching Planetary Annihilation for Wildfire. I use Szarel and Wildfire is solid despite costing more mana and doing less it doesn't kill Szarel and getting potentially 8x +1/+1 counters is amazing and replaying the lands from the graveyard is the icing on the cake.
I really enjoy how the same deck can play so differently depending on your choice between Hearthhull and Szarel. If you want to win with non combat durdles and hoops pick Hearthhull, if you want to be reckless and smash play Szarel. Definitely one of WOTC best precons ever :P

Sol Ring is goat, but adding other better ramp is better. Taking Sol Ring out, makes sense. Also I could say, I have an upgrade precon but I take the sol ring out, I am not threat.

This is a fantastic video

One half justification to keep sol ring could be to bait out removal for our commander

I had a lot of fun cutting the cards that look at how many cards are in your graveyard and replacing them with earthbending cards that lets me recur them. Even better when you eartbend your sac lands to ramp even more.

Well now, that's a fantastically helpful video. Love the cuts as well, even Sol Ring. When well explained, it all makes sense. Thank you for your hard work!

Love the mass effect reference

I was thinking of adding cloud but wasn’t sure it sounded good in my head and after seeing this video I definitely got the reinforcement I was looking for

@jesseamdahl1494 1 year ago

Your first cut is brave and I agree with it wholeheartedly

Any plans for Counter Intelligence upgrade?

This deck is so good it made me build.... Soul of windgrace

I started with hearthull but ended up really wanting to run as many utility lands that sac themselves as i can, so i found that soul of wondgrace both getting those lands back and refunding me that land drop helped much more than hearthhull drawing me a few cards. Windgrace itself is a bit of a utility outlet himself, too.

So glad someone else saw hew the entwood for this deck. Fits the same slot as bontu did but juat does it better overall.

Hey man! Thanks for a lot for the upgrade guide, but sections that came afterwards. Love the section about the cards you would add from the EoE set. Some of them look really fun like Famished Worldsire. This will be my first Jund deck and I am so looking forward to it. As a Starcraft 2 and overall sci-fi fan, the insects give me a certain Zerg vibe which I love a lot, haha. Hearthull being kind of a bio-engineered living spaceship is such a cool flavour.

Amazing video, I loved it! Super informative, with solid arguments!
How would you consider the addition of Icetill Explorer among the 99? It seems like a perfect fit to me, as it packs a lot of punch (recursion, ramp and self-fueling through milling) in a single, 4 mana card.

Great video. While it did keep the video shorter it was kinda hard to read the cards as you kept talking what or what not they provide for the deck as you phased them in and out. I had to pause often and would have preferred if you read or summarized what the cards do shortly. Still very helpful video.

I do agree with the cut, sol ring is great but for a landfall deck... regarding the add, i have something else in mind :) thanks for your interesting opinion
