The best part of Black Ices commitment to realism and authenticity is when they unleash the critical knowledge that apparently no military division ever, in the history of the war was ever fully equipped or supplied at any point ever.

Black Ice demonstrates the reason why you need more than one person to run a war.

First it was hitler depressed in a tank struggling to take Moscow With Stalin laughing at him, But now it's Stalin depressed in a bunker in Moscow with Hitler laughing at him.

I didn’t realize who I was watching until I heard Braun speak then I realized it was the guy who can’t micro the side of a barn

Bro almost became the West Russian Revolutionary Front

the idea of the allies leaving hitler disconnected territory in munich and the danzig corridor and letting him rule as a vassal state while they annex everything else in germany is fkn hilarious

I started a Soviet play through in this mod and had to cheat because I had -110% organization, idk how that even happened 😩

During the war with Germany, you were basically RP'ing as the vanilla Soviet AI

1:13 just catching strays now🫩

Are you telling me that this highly detailed historical mod does not have historical peace deals?
If I went through six hours of hell just to see that bordergore I would throw the PC out the window

As if Christmas couldn’t get any better that guy from college posted

Black Ice adding depth and more content to base hoi4 is certainly appreciated but the overwhelmingly bloated mess of decisions and micros just drives people away imo.

>most realistic mod

>black ice

Yeah…. Until you look at how strong the SS units are in black ice, in comparison to how most of those units actually performed irl

so realistic that germany somehow has bigger war economy than soviets does,or enough oil to get anywhere after 1941

Thank you for enduring this pain for us.

16:12 You got Moscow on Hitlers birthday :D

0:31 to hear College gayly moan "black guys" College I hate to do this to you especially 11 months after the fact. However as a loyal servant of the Snake of Denmark I must.

A guy from Austria in Germany, a guy from Georgia in Russia and that guy from college in YouTube

Damn, Soviets are way nerfed in this mod, in reality they were able to counterattack at the end of 1941, but in this mod you don't even get Moscow back till 1945

If you didn’t know, the reason you lose your army debuffs bonuses in 1943 is because that’s when Stalin began giving his generals more control over military strategy.
