The fact there’s still girls posting the quote “what like it’s hard?” After graduating law school is so iconic

Yesssss. These are my favourite kind of reactions. Guys watching stereotyped "girl films" for the first time and realising they missed out on a good film!

9:18 to be fair, a 179 LSAT score is pretty damn impressive, considering a perfect score is 180. That actually IS the kind of thing Harvard law school looks for.

The previous scene where the girls cheered for her wasn't her acceptance. It was getting her LSAT score back.

I absolutely LOVE how you spotted every single red flag for Warner. “He’s so full of himself-“ “bro get on with it-“ “NO ELLE don’t turn around, keep walking!”

"Prada herself" 😂😂 Boy I see you

Other than the video which obviously would probably not go over well with an admissions board-- her stats of having a 4.0 GPA and a 179 LSAT would pretty much get her accepted into any law school, so that part is actually realistic and also shows from the beginning that she always has been smart. It's also funny how some of the characters still go at her for being dumb as if she isn't at Harvard n the same law program as them. I always liked that as a continuity point-- she doesn't become smart over the course of the movie, she just finds herself/ decides that she actually really is interested in law.

The part where Luke Wilsons character Emmett asked how she thought he'd look as a blonde was a nod to his real life brother Owen Wilson - who is blonde. 😂 (Owen is Mobius in Loki)

Love the spirit of this movie. She was actually highly intelligent, in her own way, all along. Once she found her stride in law school, she was good to go, lol! Plus, people tried to dismiss her for being a "Fashion Major". Even though she had a 4.0 GPA, and a major in "Fashion Merchandising" would include several classes in business, marketing, economics, etc.

Yes. Don't judge people, period!! Thank you. That's like the premise of this movie.

Everybody should look outside their usual comfort zone (movies, music, people). Otherwise you can miss out on a lot of great stuff in life. Great reaction!

A smart "chick flick." Along with clueless, bridesmaids, mean girls...I'm sure I'm missing a couple

Speaking of Prada, I highly recommend, "The devil wears Prada!" ❤

@sheela6047 1 year ago

To give context. Getting a 179 is basically a perfect score. Any law school would accept her.

I was a tomboy growing up, and I had a lot of internalized misogyny about other women, and myself. This movie kind of helped that 😂 I didn’t see it until I was an adult, but I wish I had watched it as a teen. We judge women(and men) for the things they’re into, but assuming someone who really likes makeup must me dumb, or that a blonde girl or guy must be a bimbo, definitely some social conditioning a lot of us who grew up in the 90s and 2000s had to un learn

😂😂 he said " I'm legally black."

I appreciate you watching it just because you wanted to and not needing others' approval. Your reaction was so wholesome and very perceptive.

This movie has the aesthetics of a '90s romantic comedy, but it's actually a coming-of-age film. Elle Woods rocked everybody's shit, lol!

39:08 "and a perm straightens your hair, why your hair curly? I'm black I know fo' sho" 🤦‍♀ My brother, to quote Professor Stromwell @12:52 "Are you sure?, Would you be willing to stake your life on it?, What about his life?"
