I am Korean. I've been listening to it on music for six years, and it came out as a Korean rock festival header, so I saw it live for the first time. I was really surprised. It was happiness itself. Baby metal is a metal band that you have to see with your eyes.

The Song "THE ONE" saved my life. THAT's the power of BABYMETAL. I'm still alive thanks to the Three Megitsune AND the Kami Band.

I truly feel that BABYMETAL’s music embodies the very power of music itself.
Within their intensity lies delicacy, and within their strength resides kindness — all of which gently reach into the hearts of those who listen.
Their music transcends language and cultural boundaries, delivering hope and courage to people all around the world.
No matter how tired or downhearted I may feel, just hearing their voices lifts my spirit.
BABYMETAL expresses the healing and encouraging power of music with their whole being.
Thank you so much for your wonderful reaction!

If it's your first time here...welcome. please note I have a rule that I read and respond to all comments always. Please expect a delay as there's a lot to read 😂

I always envy people discovering BM. You have 15 years of epic material to experience. :)

I am a 59 year old  metal head...started my journey back in 1975 (I was 9 years old at my first metal concert) with Black Sabbath, and listened to bands like Megadeth, Motorhead, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, and saw them all and so many more in concert. I started listening to Babymetal in 2016 and was blown away by them. I would encourage you to continue your journey with Babymetal. They mesh different types of metal with different other genres of music like, j-pop, rap, latin music and so on. The even fuse different type of metal together. I have had the pleasure of seeing these young ladies in concert several times twice in Japan, and so far 7 times here in the states, and have been blown away each and every time, and I hope to see them several more times in the future. (I saw them twice in San Francisco in July and saw them again on July 24th at the Regent theater in L.A. and I just saw them again on Nov.1st at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.) I am sure people have already let you know that it is best to watch a live video of them to get the best experience. The ladies that are Babymetal are: Su-Metal (Lead singer), Moametal (scream and dance) and Momometal (Scream and dance) They have been doing this since 2010. There was an earlier member Yuimetal, but she left the band due to health reasons and Momo replaced her. They do not play instruments, but they have a backing band called the Kami Band that plays for live concerts.  For me metal music had gotten stale in the mid 90's, and I credit Babymetal for bringing back my love of metal. This is a sub genre of metal that Babymetal created called Kawaii Metal or Cute Metal. I have to admit that I am a bit jealous that you are discovering them for the first time...I remember my first time.

Welcome to the One! We're glad to have you! This song, this specific performance, is in my opinion the best introduction to Babymetal you could have had. It gives you the perfect example of everything that Babymetal is, on every level. Hope you love the other songs just as much!

7:04 That moment when your need to understand is replaced by the irresistible delight for what you are seeing - so many of us had the same experience and feelings, so I love watching others discover Babymetal for the first time. The power of this group to immediately attract devoted followers is just incredible.

The rest of your life, you will walk in the light of Babymetal, and it is glorious.

STAND UP AND SHOUT!!!
JUSTICE FOREVER
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I was suffering from a pet loss of my 18 year old dog, when by chance I discovered BABYMETAL.  They cured my pet loss in one song and I have been hooked ever since.  The song is "Akatsuki" and tells us your love for someone (I include dogs...) is for you to cherish until the day you die.  This is from a live concert @ Wembley - the first Japanese to perform there.

The Beastie Boys always said Japan was their favorite place in the world to visit because "Japan  gets everything cool 5 years before the rest of the world does."

Babymetal is merely another example.

4:49 splitting the crowd for the good ol' WALL OF DEATH.

I've been in mosh pits and walls of death for lamb of god, slipknot, coheed and cambria, trivium, and five finger death punch. NONE of them had crowd control like babymetal more specifically Su. she had the entire arena under her spell and the wall of death had SO many people, it was like the whole floor was a giant moving organism. i migrated from my spot in the middle to the front over the course of their performance lmao.

These young ladies are something very special been a huge fan since they first performed in the UK in 2014,they have some incredible studio work but live they are just mind blowing ,Su is such an amazing singer and with Moa and now Momo at her side they are making people happy all over the world with their hi energy concerts, you just never know what they are going to do next, welcome to the Foxhole you are in for one incredible musical journey 🦊

Babymetal changed my life not covid.i got to hear Band Maid through Babymetal. I have seen over 60 shows in Japan over 40 bands

This my favourite song from babymetal
Greetings from Indonesia

Самое эпичное выступление !!! Такое повторить невозможно!! Слёзы наворачиваются. 🔥🔥🔥❤️‍🔥

Babymetal started as a sub unit of the school themed Idol group Sakura Gakuin for girls between 10 and 15 years old in 2010.
Su graduated from Sakura Gakuin in 2013, Yui and Moa in 2015.
But Babymetal already started to play their own headliner shows in 2012.
I discovered Babymetal in 2023 when I was about to see them as supporting act for Sabaton (they stepped in when the tour was postponed a year due to Covid).
My favorite songs are Akatsuki, Arkadia and Monochrome. The already recommended Monochrome live at the PIA Arena is awesome but there's also a stripped down piano version on the channel The First Take.

Hiya Tania, i saw Babymetal in London in 2014 & 2016. At Wembley arena they finished the main set with my fave song "The One" & then came back with "Road of Resistance" for the awesome encore :)
