Deep Purple performing “Diablo” LIVE at RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto on August 18, 2026, during their North American tour supporting the new album SPLAT!.

Filmed from the audience in 4K UHD, this video captures the strangest and funniest moment of the night.

During “Diablo,” a mysterious man wearing a construction hard hat and high-visibility vest delivers a harmonica to Ian Gillan on a pillow, prompting an amused reaction from the singer. Later in the performance, Gillan adds to the hilarity with an unexpected slap of his own backside.

Featuring Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Don Airey and Simon McBride, with special guests David Freiberg and Cathy Richardson of Jefferson Starship.
