if i was taylor i would crash out too, wtf 😭 he really did just turn her into an idea of some sorts 😭

If somebody wrote About You and Me & You Together Song about me I'd also start to wildly fantazise about them tbh lmao

HELP IM STILL AT THE RESTAURANT

When someone who suffers from limerence finds someone who bombards her with love messages

Plus the Caroline actress looking just like Taylor and doing the delicate dance

AND the fact that in loml she says “I said ‘I don’t mind, it takes time’” fits perfectly with the lyrics “she told me ‘some things just take time’” in tonight i wish i was your boyfriend 😭😭

This is our Lord of the Rings.

Matty: "She told me, 'some things just take time'/How can you be sure if you never try?" -Tonight (IWIWYB), 2022
Taylor: "I said, 'I don't mind, it takes time.'/I thought I was better safe than starry-eyed." -loml, 2024
Me: *shaking the bars of my cage, gnawing at my chains, foaming at the mouth, feral*

Tbf Matty was asked about Taylor for years in practically every interview after they hooked up in 2014/2015. He wasn't always just randomly bringing Taylor up.

no like genuinely theyre insane this goes so much deeper than anyone realizes??? i do NOT blame taylor for writing ttpd after all this 😭😭😭

12:54 couldn’t tell you a single lyric they just sang 😂

They also both wrote songs called Paris that are about wishing or pretending you are in Paris with a partner.

Omg! Oh Caroline and the opening line, "I've been suicidal, you've been gone for weeks"

How TTPD of you Matty... "You told Lucy you'd kill yourself if I ever leave"

Even if thats not about Taylor, you should reallyyyyy stop putting those sentiments on your partners

People wonder why she wants to own her music. It's literally her diary. 😭

I love when artists date each other

I've seen the in depth Tumblr posts and mess of entaglements they've had over the years dating back from late 2013 but this video just blew my perspective wide open! Some of my favourite songs dating back to lover like death by a thousand cuts are about Matty Healy and damn they had a final boss level situation ship for more than a decade. Glad to get songs like ivy, the 1, about you, somebody else, fallingforyou, imgonnagetyouback, peter, loml, and literally the entire ttpd album.

Talk about floating in each other's orbits and being muses over eras, years, lovers and public scrutiny.

I am convinced the female part in about you was originally supposed to be taylor’s part

"Who's gonna stop us from waltzing back into rekindled flames" - loml
The Midnights album cover is an image of Taylor igniting a flame🤯
The way their story played out is so unfortunate.

He said, before singing About You at the Sydney show in April 2023, “Romance is nice if it worked,” and then added, “Next song works.” Then Fallingforyou started playing, and he said, “It‘s different song，this song did not work.” After that, About You started playing, and he said, “This is the one that worked.” In the end, he mouthed “I love you”.he even shouted out“Fuck yeah, I win.” It was extremely, extremely obvious.
