I live on the west coast and couldn't bring myself to stay up all night to finish watching the live stream. I went to bed thinking it was going to be a draw and now this? Total surprise. Wish I had stayed up for this! What a game.

Jerry, it really is time for you to start getting paid for being the great teacher and entertainer that you are.  You're a pleasure to watch and listen to.  Your mix of humor, analysis, and your good nature is a winning combination.  I don't care if it's books, online video series, whatever...you make it we will buy it.  Don't believe me, just ask your subscribers and the twitch chat.  You deserve to be paid.

I'm using your videos already to help my son and daughter learn chess.  They always ask me "dad, can we watch Jerry please?"  It's a real credit to your style that adults and children alike are drawn to your style.

Wow, absolutely genius endgame by Carlsen. Never would have been able to foresee such a situation played out like that.

I like the way black converted the passive rook, as you pointed out, to a more active rook, by giving up a pawn. And then by giving up yet another pawn, he made his King come into a super-active position. Even if that is not less, Carlsen gave up the h-pawn in order to activate the f-pawn and roll it down the f-file. Hats off to Carlsen. Its one of his best games.

The Kf4 followed by Ke3 is still is one of my alltime favorite moments, the commentary was absolutely crazy, every GM commenting thought it was a mistake, but soon enough they realized how Carlsen thought it. I even remeber the live computers not picking up that line

Wow what a seriously incredible endgame.  I believe this game will be long remembered.

Again Anand plays for a draw when he should be playing to win and gets killed by Magnus' superb endgame technique. Great play by Magnus and for that matter good defense by Anand. I hope Anand pushes harder in game 7 or he will just get rolled over again.

Holy crap. For some reason this game made me realize just how frighteningly good Carlsen's ability to get an advantage in the end game really is.  I suppose after watching game 4 as well, these last two games really solidified this image I have of him in inpenetrable armor.  Truly awesome to behold.

Now I guess I've got to go for the underdog in the next game to keep things tense.  Good luck to Anand.

I had both your stream and the official stream from the FIDE website running during the match. I focused on your stream and occasionally clicked over to the FIDE stream to have a look at players. I have absolutely nothing against Anand but I'm rooting for Carlsen. I'm Swedish and just one week older than Magnus, so naturally I became a fan of his. He seems like a great guy as well. That last hour or so was very exciting! Thank you for a wonderful stream and I'm looking forward to the next one on Monday!
