Sometimes the more we fight against the struggles in our lives, the heavier they become. In this video, I share something I've learned through my own experience with tinnitus. Every time I've desperately tried to fight it, control it, or make it disappear, it seemed to become harder. But when I began to let go, accept where I was, and put my trust in God, something inside me started to change. I don't believe God wants us to suffer, but I do believe He can use difficult seasons of our lives to shape us, strengthen us, and teach us to trust Him in ways we never would have otherwise. Whatever struggle we're facing right now, maybe the answer isn't always to try and fight harder.
