I love how this movie challenges Blanc/the audience’s shared instinct to treat these people like “enemies” or “pieces on a board” rather than people who need help.
Came out of the first viewing disappointed by the supporting cast feeling underutilized, but on repeat viewings there’s so much gold to be found in Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, and Daryl McCormack’s performances.
Everyone is adding such subtle depth to their characters but it’s O’Connor, Craig, Brolin, and Washington who steal the show.
"I can see it's metal poisoning already."
"What? Oh, right. The knife."
