Beautiful!! I rode extensively from Santander to Noia in Galicia zigzagging between the coast and the interior for 3 months. I rode from London to Plymouth then boat. I was on a Piaggio X9 250 in 2003. I loved it so much I moved to Spain a year later and been here since.

I am currently living in Portugal and form there, I drove to the Picos of Europe on the early 2000ties on my 1150 RT BMW and stay at Potes. Several years later, I went back, this time with my wife, for the same trip on my Road King HD and also stayed at Potes in the same hotel ( very good ). I enjoyed both trips. For me, it's one of the best places I have seen, so far, and very pleasant for driving a motorbike.

Spain looks ideal for biking all year round. Here in the UK it's not great biking weather, so we enjoy watching your European tour with relish.

Picos de Europa and moreover Asturias is not a place for just one day trip. You will need ten days at least but not at last. From East to West of Asturias you will find magical places and roads perfectly design for bike ride. The wonderfull tasty food has to be discovered by yourself.

Hi! I just had to watch this video again because we visited Picos de Europa yesterday and walked along the beautiful Ruta del Cares. We were surprised by how few people there were, having expected hoards of tourisits. It was cloudy and rain had been forecast, but it turned out to be mostly rain-free afterall. A spectacular day out.- hope to retun some day on my Honda.

Last year we wemt there… we never thought it was the Picos de Europa not unless we are in the middle of the mountains ⛰️😂 whoooa…. Would love to ride again… from Madrid ❤

Weather is often damp in that part of Spain but the scenery is good compensation !

If I recall correctly it’s also the one place in Europe where there are Condors. I recall seeing them being fed a goat.

Gracias! The road up to Sotres is one of my favourites, so glad you enjoyed it, and you have inspired me to go further, so far I stayed on the tarmac! You are right though, there are no bad roads in the Picos!

My prof, the late Mr Maass, used to say "boring limestone", skipped this beautifull Picos de Europa landscape and showed us the fossil rich adjoining Barrios de Luna area instead. Thanks for the magic footage!

"Tenere (700) for travel bike President". You are right!
But have to admit that the Africa Twin was in my focus too. Too heavy too much Software, Electronic. But still a beautiful bike.

I ride with my T 700 to the top of the World (North cape) this year. My very first BIG trip with the T700. Exiting, the trip, the bike.
And the rider ? I am not so sure about him. I need far more big trips with the T 700 to test him (smile).

Thank you both for sharing with us your road trip. Toulouse is just up the road, hence my next trip will be to Bayonne, then the Picos de Europa on my Honda Transalp. I can't wait. Regards
