As much as this video is appreciated, the editor put the Optus logo over the score (runs vs balls remaining) - such a critically important part of this game - how no one fixed this before releasing is beyond me.

Carl Hooper one of the most naturally talented batsmen in World Cricket. This innings was a testament to his natural talent.

Had the privilege of being there. Was 12 years old and went with my dad. Eternally grateful to my late grandparents for gifting me tickets for Christmas for that game.

Those were the times in winter times I used to wait to watch World Series Cup just to see the jersys.

Two great innings in a match: Hooper and Beven

Carl hooper, very underrated player

Great one-dayer, paul reiffel and micheal bevan are calm composers, down to earth, attractive.

The greatest one day innings ever played in my opinion……WOW!!!

GOLDEN ERA WORLD CRICKET 90'S

Still unbelievable watching this 25 years later. I was at a New Years party in Sydney sneaking updates on TV & radio. At 6/38 you wouldn't have put found money on Australia. To this day an incredible win.

Carl Hooper was such a good player. He batted with a strike rate of around 100, he made 93 from 96 balls and played some wonderful strokes especially in the start where he played strokes over cover, extra cover and mid off. If Roger Harper hadn't dropped Bevan's catch West Indies would have won the game for sure

Ponting facing Curtley Ambrose in a Cap. Those were the days...

Bevan's finest game. It never gets old. What a pity ODI has been reduced to the poor cousin of T20. Since ODI went to pay TV in Australia I no longer get to see it.

Man was regarded as the best finisher in cricket

Carl Hooper! He and Bevan were actually my two favourite players growing up, I appreciated both of their understated demeanours and quiet achievements, whilst also often being tasked with often having to save their respective teams innings from the middle order. The drama of the ending and Bevo's last gasp 4 to win it was definitely what got me loving cricket all those years ago.

No one spots in the world is better than chanel 9 cricket team before starts the when richie benaud analysis was wonderful to watch 😊

I love these Australian grounds crowds pitches every thing belongs to Australia ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ great series

Bill Lawrey goes off Big Time at the end. Love it.

Bevan then Hussey.......Aus have always the players who could turn matches at any stage...

Thanks for the full highlights, much appreciated. You don't get much apart from the final over!
