Old Fashioned Style Cocktail with Equal Parts Smoked Whisky, Port,Bourbon!

@jcam1242 1 year ago

My OF is 2 oz bourbon, .5 oz maple syrup, 2 dashes of bitters, splash of Grand Marnier for the citrus flavor. Stir well, strain into glass over a big rock. Add cherries and a dehydrated orange slice as garnish. Bomb!

Blade and Bow. 1/2 oz Demerara syrup. 3 dashes Agostino bitters. 1/2 oz Grand Marnier. Luxardo cherry. Orange peel. I promise, it's the greatest.

My specialty old fashioned goes like this… a few dashes of angostura and orange bitters, no more than 1/4 oz of maple syrup (I use brandy/cognac for this hence why I hold back on the syrup), about a bar spoon of rosemary olive oil, 2 oz of brandy or cognac (I use remy Martin 1738 Royal)… add 1 big ice and stir, smoke it with any wood chips you like (I like maple or oak), finally garnish with dehydrated figs in a toothpick and enjoy 😊🍹

sugar cube (1 tsp.), splash of water, 3 dashes of bitters, 2-3 oz. Rye or bourbon, ice. Garnished with lemon peel and cherry if using rye, orange peel and cherry if using bourbon. I prefer the Rye.

Try Grand Marnier instead of sugar or syrup, and you don't have to muddle an orange slice. It's a sweet orange liqueur in one step, plus it's 80 proof. I always like dark cherry's in mine. Gonna definitely try that chocolate bitters.
