This far into the franchise, what's your favorite Despicable Me or Minions movie?

Fun fact: Miranda Cosgrove was 17 when she voiced Margo in the first film. By the time of the fourth film, she was 31 when the movie entered production.

The fact that they actually got the licensing to use the Terminator theme

41:56 you know you have to be a menace for a AFRICAN HONEY BADGER to be terrified of you, just from your scent.

Fun fact: The name of Gru's alma mater is Lycee Pas Bon. Translating from French to English, the name is "No Good High School"

In my opinion, this movie would have been a lot better if they focused more on Dru and Gru’s relationship again.

20:33 no because Gru had similar "X-Ray goggles" in despicable me 2 and it showed Lucy organs along with her skeleton I'm pretty sure there was brain too

2:44 for Deadpool 2 Brad Pitt played Vanisher because his kids loved the first movie and as a favor to Ryan Rynolds and David Leitch

I'm kinda happy Silas Ramsbottom came out of retirement in this movie to be head director of the AVL again. He was a lot better than Valerie da Vinci who just fired Gru and Lucy on the spot instead of coming up with a new plan for them to catch Balthazar Bratt...

(Edit): But that ending song with Everybody wants to rule the world with all the Villains of the Despicable Me/Minions movie franchise was really awesome...

What I've always thought so silly with Western movies: Children don't age. At all. See this movie. And every single person has exactly one outfit. The girls wear the same thing now for four movies. I get that it's maybe because children need the familiarity to recognise the character? But it's ridiculous. I mean, they do just fine in a lot of Anime. They have wardrobes there and, see Dragonball, they grow up! Obviously, Japanese children are able to recognise their favourite characters, even if they change their hair or their clothes and grow up and have kids themselves.

Yes, Minions can officially poo. Chris Renaud, the director of the Despicable Me films, has confirmed that Minions have a digestive system and pass faeces, as they do, after all, eat bananas all the time and there is toilet humour in the films. What’s more, in some scenes you can see that they have a bum.
Diet: Minions mainly eat bananas.
Anatomy: They have bum cheeks, which suggests they have a functioning digestive tract.
Official confirmation: According to the filmmakers, it’s canon that they have to go because ‘pooing is funny’.

The conflict between Will Ferrell’s character being mad at Gru for stealing his song is also a bit of a meta commentary on how Will Ferrell’s other movie about a villain turning good, Megamind, was overshadowed by the first Despicable Me, all because of the Minions.
