I picked your video to escape the news today. It came up on my feed and I’m choosing calming videos to soothe my soul.  I’m happy to subscribe.  You’ve got some lovely ideas.
So much chaos going on around the world.  It’s important to escape, touch grass, touch paper and get creative to chase the negative away.  
Tomorrow is the anniversary of my mums death.  She was only 43.  I’m making a journal for her and will add her words of wisdom, jokes and funny stories, memories I want to pass onto my children and grandchildren.  It so important to have tactile things in our lives.  So much is digital we crave for something to take us away from it all.  

I can spend all day in my studio creating and end up just with painted papers, art, sewn items but nothing is cohesive and kept together.  

Thank you for the free quarter collection and your lovely calm video. It’s always lovely to see other people’s ideas of ephemera and how they’re using them.  I’m looking forward to cutting your templates with my brother scan & cut.   I have a love hate relationship with it.  It cuts big and long, great for large patchwork projects.  Downsides, the mats are so expensive!  There’s no third party available.  
What I love about it, the machine can cut out so many things.  It’s got a pen set, embossing etc.  
honestly, I probably could have got a cricut for half the price.  I paid about £700 for mine in U.K.  it’s a Disney Dx or something.   I bought while I was really poorly from Lyme disease and on lots of medication.  I’d hate to sell it and find out I’m missing something by trading for a cricut.   The decisions of a crafter!  It’s overwhelming 😂
