Already clocked that something was going to go horribly wrong when the music started, but man, hearing Purple Magic go down hurts.

That being said, flying over the night time city, with all the radio chatter from both ends while fighting to protect the ground units was an insane experience

I felt the entire spectrum of human emotions in this mission. From somehow getting all the LCACs onto the shore, to running out of ammo when the bombers were attacking, to having to target the Shadows while I'm practically at 0 missiles, to somehow realizing that through all of this I made it with no damage.

Goddammit, this game was worth the wait.

I was in tears for most of the second part of this mission. Purple Magic more than did their job. They got key information that would end up turning the tide against Sotoa. And the music - THEIR music - and lyrics are so beautiful and so perfect thematically...Purple Magic, may you burn bright like stars in the skies forever!!

Meeting your idols is one thing, letting them go another, but hearing them die is just new high of pain. Coster really had a emotional rollercoster; really fast and short between turns.
