Delta Air Lines positions Delta One as its flagship international experience, but this older A330 from Atlanta to Lima presents a tougher test of that premium image. This Delta Air Lines Business Class trip report examines how the product holds up against newer U.S. competition and the fares Delta frequently commands. This video walks through the Atlanta lounge options, A330-300 Business Class seat, Delta One dining, Missoni amenities and onboard service to verify everything you need to know for a 2026 or 2027 travel itinerary.

🙈 The Reveal Video: Why I’m Finally Showing My Face + Season 3...
I had wanted to review Delta One for years, but the pricing had consistently kept me away. When I found a fare from Boston to Lima for under $1,000, it finally made sense to build a trip around it. After connecting through Atlanta, I headed for Delta’s own lounge before boarding my first long-haul Delta flight.
The aircraft turned out to be a 19-year-old Airbus A330-300 with Delta’s older reverse-herringbone Business Class seats. They are still comfortable and provide direct aisle access, but the wider business-class market has changed enormously since this cabin debuted. Delta has newer suites elsewhere in the fleet, while a substantial number of its widebody aircraft continue flying older interiors like this one.
The softer parts of the experience were mixed as well. Missoni bedding and the amenity kit were strong, while the catering was unusually poor for Delta and the service was efficient without much engagement. That left me with an airline I still generally like, but a Delta One experience that did not consistently match the premium reputation surrounding it.

This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not seek out special treatment or accept invitations from hotels or airlines to review their products in exchange for anything — whether that be a free stay, a free flight, or actual payment. It’s simply not my style.
