I'm so happy that you caught the real unifying spirit of this more than most people do!

Peter Gabriel is World Class. This performance was an encore, to send the audience home on a high.

All these superb artists aligned perfectly with Peter's musical vision. He puts on an incredible show and he's been doing it for decades.

"I need more Peter Gabriel in my life"! Girl, EVERYONE needs more Peter Gabriel in their life. Every single one of his songs will touch you in some deep seated emotional way. The stagecraft, his charisma, his voice, his connection with his audience - it's been there since the early '70's with Genesis and remains there to this day. I highly recommend "Mercy Street" from the "Live in Athens" tour or "Biko" from the "Amnesty" concerts. If you want something more personal, look for the solo piano versions of "Here Comes the Flood." You will be a changed woman.

this song has a really touching and dreamy vibe and i love the way you picked up on it immediately and vibed out, you're super awesome for that

Just feels like happiness

Peter Gabriel is the only performer I know of that can somehow make intimate contact with every single soul at a venue of 20 or 30 000 people. His stage prescence is unlike anyone else, even since tbe early days of fronting Genesis, there was a feeling that bordered on the supernatural. His live performances of San Jacinto, Come Talk to Me, No Self Control and Lay Your Hands on Me, are really outstanding. You will probably love early Genesis as well, they were in a category all their own.

The Female Singer is the famous, Paula Cole, "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?", which reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 in 1997, and "I Don't Want to Wait", which was used as the theme song of the television show Dawson's Creek.

I have watched this performance many times, and it always makes me smile with the pure joy of it. It was so uplifting to see your own response to it in this reaction. It was so obvious that it brought joy to you too because, (dare I say), - it was in your eyes. Thank you for sharing this with us.

The algorithm tossed me videos of this song on Jan. 12th 2026, and now I'm looking for all the reactions to this performance. This is one of my favorite songs by Peter Gabriel. Now, I can't just listen to the album version, it must be THIS version. I just added it to my Liked Songs on Spotify. This wasn't just the singing/playing of a song... it truely was a spiritual celebration.

PLEASE... Start by watching this WHOLE CONCERT Secret World Tour 1993 ... you will NEVER LOOK BACK. Goosebumps on my goosebumps, every time I listen to this track AND THE WHOLE GIG. A MUST WATCH, FLOWERS!

I've never met Peter Gabriel, but based on everything I've seen and read, I think he would smile broadly to hear this song described as a Healing Ritual.

Great song, nice reaction and review. As a drummer, wanna shout out Manu Katché on the drums. 👊🏻

Really enjoyed your reaction to this!!! I was fortunate to see Peter Gabriel live in 2023, thirty years after this performance. As with this performance, "In Your Eyes" was again the encore to the concert. I highly recommend "Don't Give Up" from this Secret World tour!!!

Awesome reaction! It's so cool to see how much you enjoyed one of my favorite songs.

And so. Welcome to Peter G. Food for the soul.

Loved watching your reaction to this performance, and getting soaked up into the experience. I am so grateful to have seen this tour, it was more than a concert. I do wish the video had some more shots as if from the crowd`s perspective, especially in the River song from this tour.

The permanent smile on your smile says it all. Genius art from the master of music. I attended this show back in the day. Life-changing. Be well, young lady. ~~~ M.
