This is probably one of the top five live performances ever recorded. Everyone on that stage gave a masterclass in performing

"I don't know why I'm getting so emotional". Welcome to Peter Gabriel.

Peter Gabriel: Unmatched voice, great musician, composer, art, genius, mentor, fighter for human rights, pacifist, explorer of tribal music, committed to planet Earth and its memory. Thank you Bethany

There was a brief moment in history where some people treated other people like human beings... not like a race or a gender or a token anything. EVERYONE on that stage was an amazing talent and they showed us what we could all be together if we tried.

One of the best live concerts ever filmed. A beautiful song on its own, elevated to a glorious global musical mosaic tapestry party !

One of the best live performances in the history of the world.

The drumming on this song, and album, by Manu Katche, is stunning. A master class in itself.

Man... 30 years later and it STILL gives me chills!!! Such a great concert!!! ❤

The bass player, Tony Levin from King Crimson is a deep dive in itself.

If you don't tear up listening to this, you are not human.  I saw this tour in 1993. It was, if not still is one of the best shows I've ever seen.

There is an interview with Paula Cole, where she explains that she was "unknown" before Gabriel recruited her for this tour & he was so kind & smart...the experience was so educational & FUN it would stay with her forever. They worked hard to inject joy into the performance.

The constant smile on your face says everything❤

This was a celebration of music! No ego, no "star", no spotlight. Just celebrate the music...

It's good to cry at beautiful things. It's the surest sign of empathy.

Peter Gabriel is great, but the addition of Paula Cole to this performance is incredible!

It's been decades passed, and this is still the best concert I've ever attended.

Having been in love with this particular performance for many years now, I have no hesitation in saying it is easily one of the most transcendent, culturally unifying moments in music history!

If she observed more Gabriel concerts, she'd realize what a true artist he is. Not just for himself but for his whole show and its production.  Whst she saw & experienced was a direct result of that. The man is without any doubt a genius and an artist.

This video is like a religious experience

Before my Pamela passed from cancer, we listed to this song together. It's been almost seven years. I miss her eyes.. This was our song. I recommend the studio version.
