Really makes you think about the Japanese people who put this car together on day one. They cared about it then.Great to see someone else long after show the same respect.

Few videos are more enjoyable than watching skilled mechanics bring old car wrecks back to performance standards. 👍🏿💯

Man! In 1982 I was 17 and my first car was a Green, 1973, Toyota, Celica, ST that I purchased for $250.00!  I drove that car for approx. 2.5 years with NO issues.  Thank you for the memories and I am so happy to see you revived this classic.

Nothing beats older Toyota's 👍🏼

Every once in a while you see a car, and think to yourself... "that just looks like a crap-ton of fun to drive."   This would be that car for me.  Literally. Fun. Incarnate.  Well done, my friend.

i am so sorry i can only give 1 like, this jewel deserves at least 500 like`s, love the work. wish you the best from Mexico.

Great editing. Really makes it enjoyable to watch. No talking, just off with the old and on with the new.

When I was a kid I was into drawing cars. In about 1970 I drew a car that looked just like the Celica, except I had round tail lights. Other than that it looked like someone stole my idea. I was surprised to see my drawing come to life. I was also surprised that it was a foreign made car. Excellent work on your project I currently am working on a 1968 AMX. looking forward to getting it on the road again.

You did an excellent work on that beauty, congratulations! Just a side note, I love these kind of videos just with the working noise and zero music, it is a mix of enjoying and relaxing at the same time, have a great day!

I had a medium blue 72 ST with the gold reflective stripe on the side and a luggage rack back in 1973……just loved that car!!

Me and my 2yo kid enjoyed this very much! Great work!

My parents bought me a 1977 Toyota Celica GT liftback and I drove it through my high school years.  Decades later, I bought a 1991 Nissan 300 ZX twin turbo.  I miss those cars very much!

You did an excellent job restoring this Celica. It shows the passion and dedication you’d put in this car to finally bring it back to life. Congrats!

Beautiful restoration, Brother! My first car was a ‘76 Celica GT .. Bright metallic blue with two sets of big white stripes on both sides.. Bought new from the dealer when I came back from my NAVY deployment overseas in the Indian Ocean. I thank my grandmother for helping me get the loan and establishing my first credit line. I LOVED that amazing little car!.. So many miles full of Great American Road memories all over the US. My current 2015 4Runner is still clicking along.. my second from new 4Runner.. Guess you can say I’m Toyota Tough for Life member.. but I still do miss my little Celica. 😎🇺🇸🇯🇵🛞⭐️💪🏼💖🖖🏼👊🏼

Lovely car. This was an amazing series.

Well done Sir! That's one of my favorite cars and you did it proud. Love it when some restores a vintage vehicle.
