IMO get new shocks, cut the springs, fix the small things, and drive it around for a while. See if it grows on you. Then, maybe if it does, wheels and a manual swap for a phase 2.

Too many modded old cars out there. Fix what's broken while keeping it boring and stock. Then sell it to a fan or someone who needs a  simple wagon.

Don't lower it!  Always keep it stock and you'll grow to love it as it is.

I'm here for all your content, but largly drawn by the simplicity of your videos but attention to detail. Top notch.

Good quality content🤘🤘🤘you have yourself a new subscriber!!

ENJOYED your video, thank you!  Following a Peugeot 504D, the only car I have actually had dreams about was my 1990 240GL 5-speed wagon.  Oh how I miss that car!  Thank you for your amazing video, narration, and happy memories!

Such a relaxing video.

Loved the rejuvenation of an old wagon

Love these, they are so safe and built like tanks.

excellent video , informative and satisfying ,.thanks for giving this old classic car a new life

My parents had these when I was a kid, Dad had the manual wagon and Mom had the auto sedan. I've always wanted to find a wagon but they've been fetching crazy money here lately, will start watching this now! I'm jealous.

I was the 34th like, you couldn't make it up! Looking forward to you visiting the North West Mark. The intro sounds super interesting 👍

I really appreciate how calm and relaxing this video was.  I'm pleased with how much you achieved too!  Not just "tune in next time when I've got the parts".  Thank you very much :)

Bro talking down this 240 😢..  dude she's a beauty!

What an excellent video.
Thanks for uploading loving your work.

nope, I'm not a volvo person - yet you got me to sit through this entire restoration. well done man! I also would take a second (or maybe third) look if I saw this car at the trailhead. 🤗

Blessed to see this pop up on my feed

Bang on !  saving an iconic auto from the wrecking yard, thus giving it a new lease on life is definite win  Still 🙌🏼

Man, that brings back memories!

Thank you for saving this car from being recycled. My grandpa used to have a green 245 when I was young. He later upgraded to a V70. I like both but the older definitely can be called iconic. If I were you I would trade it for a better example.

Very satisfying seeing everything cleaned prior to assembly. I can’t stand 245’s but maybe just drive it for a bit 🤷🏻‍♂️. Killer content as always 🎉🎉
