Thanks for watching! What next?

This guy is a true master. After seeing so much garbage on youtube it's very refreshing to listen to someone who really understands martial arts.

This man know the intricacies  of Karate and most importantly explains them very well.

This is one of the best one's I've seen so far of Kevin conversing with a master, because Sensei Dan is incredibly good of explaining complex things in a simple way!

When he talks about being in the forward stance for less than a second I was reminded of Jesse Enkamp talking about his brother doing MMA fights and you don't see the karate stances unless you take still photos right when he's doing a technique

Old School Karate are soo Complete it's  sad Japan turned Karate in a limited  sport the Okinawa Karate are  very badass and versatile.

Sensei Smith seems like an amazing teacher and I think we can all only hope to be so active and enthusiastic about whatever it is we're doing at the age of 79. 🙏

I am a student of seibukan from India for the last  50 years.I am now 71 years..I was fortunate to meet SENSEI okinawa in 2018.I am really impressed by his deep. Knowledge in karate and the way he teaches at this age is really astounding.God bless you SENSEI with good health and a long happy life

Love to see the old guys teach, that is a lot of experience

He comes across very humble but has a lot of knowledge. I like how he has conversations and doesn’t just talk at you. As always great job emptying your cup Kevin and learning! Awesome video.

"Last shogun Tom Cruise"🤣🤣🤣 nice one

I can't tell you how much I appreciated this, Kevin. I've been unsubscribing from other channels, because they're putting out more and more junk content. You, however, have been getting better and better. Thank you! And great thanks and appreciation to Sensei Smith for sharing what I can only imagine to be a fraction of his knowledge.

the way i was taught in kenpo is if your opponent has their legs spread they are gunna be using their arms alot and if they are together than they will be kicking. you can read the person you are fighting pretty easy that way but then you have those tricky buggers who constantly switch their stance in between blocks and attacks. Those are the ones you really have to look out for. Shaolin comes to mind.

This guy brought together everything I learned in TKD in 10 years into a 26 minute video. The section on the structure of the "block" was great.

i can listen to this man for hours and days...amazing

Some of my friends/instructors are black belts under Sensei Smith and they've all studied directly with Zenpo sensei

9:32 - the whistling sound in martial arts movies is real

Sensei Dan is a great teacher and friend.  Ive learned so much from him.  Your video Kevin is fantastic and provides a good look and specific insight into how he teaches.  Thank you for this.
