Honestly, I could see him as Ron.
David is just fantastic. Harry Potter was my first exposure to him but I have seen several other of his works since, Dragonheart, Wonder Woman and The Sandman, all 4 such unique and powerful roles that he showed masterful range in.
The first film I can recall seeing in the theater was Snow White. My mom took me but I was 4 or 5 and ended up unable to sit through it. I never ended up caring for it much but I don't know if thar was a factor in this case or not.
I cannot recall which was the first, but I rented the dvds of Prisoner of Azkaban and Total Eclipse as a kid, and obviously I only understood why the two poets were so volatile and toxic with each other when I rewatched as an adult. My favorite role of Thewlis is the hidden gem Besieged; amazing chemistry with Thandiwe Newton and Bertolucci directed this, I really recommend it!
Now Thomas, my first watch was Nanny Mcphee and my favorite roles are Dr. Jack Dawkins of Artful dodger and Benny of The Queen's Gambit!
