Ps, great job W/ your channel, I really enjoy seeing, hearing how others have customized their Monkeys 💪👊

Wait until you hear about bicycle touring

The LCD screen(tablet?) probably makes it a lot easier and cheaper for the manufacturer instead of having to design a proprietary gauge assembly. No need to design and make expensive molds etc.

MONKEY BIKE MONDAY!!!! ❤️🏁 Why isnt Honda making the racks on their bike like that Orange one?!?

I bought the rack from T Rex racing for my monkey. It comes with a lockbox underneath. It’s very cool. So far so good. Thanks for the vid!

I’m really digging this idea and segment.
I’m looking forward to Mondays now. I don’t know that I’ve ever been able to say that.. ever…
😂
Thanks for the shoutout!! I’ll be getting touch with you.

This is great! Love the effects and production... I'll be tuning in weekly. I remember watching your Deals Gap video, that rain! 😂.
Planning to use my Monkey lots this year, be keen to see more about off-road mods and ideas or examples of folks who have changed the look of their monkey for something more off-road aggressive 👌🙏

I have the same Monkey bike as you! Black and silver colors. Love mine, I live in Idaho and enjoy the small towns to cruise around too.

I am a welder fabricator by trade. I’ve been looking for a reason to justify purchasing a tube bender. It seems like there might be enough interest in robust, customizable rack setups that I might just build a few and see if anyone has any interest. I doubt I could compete with any Chinese brand price wise but eh. Might still give it a shot.

10:30, simple low-cost cooler bags from Walmart. The plywood mount is held on with 4 good tight bungee cords. Removes in seconds. Thanks for the mention!

This is a great format! Love the layout.

A few things:

The Monkey cannonball looks like a blast, I've wanted to do the Scooter Cannonball, but the only thing keeping me from it is the time sink; definitely does not line up with my work schedule. Someday!

I would love to see Honda help themselves to that rack design, and produce it as a genuine part. They've had their IP stolen for decades now, so turnabout is fair play.

In the meantime, consider an ebike front rack. Some of them are pretty heavy duty, and with a trip to the hardware store for some brackets, zip ties, and pipe clamps, I'm sure you can make it work on the cheap!

Here's an idea... get one of them Honda Grom Clones like a Boom Vader 125... strip it down and build a version of your own! I might try it actually.

These Racks are interesting! If you get more infos please share! 🙂

I've done a bunch of sections of the WA BDR and other PNW camp trips on a monkey. It's a riot! Get out there do stupid, have fun, bring friends, and be safe. IMO a terrible only bike, perfect forever bike.
