300Hz is about the lowest you can hear on phone speakers; is this him boosting the lowest frequencies you can hear on a common listening device?

Great perspective!   I've gotta try this out.  TY so much for making this, JP!

Great video, thanks! The "why" of things is usually far more important than the "how"! Cheers!

I love the conceptual approach. That was a cool video.

That’s a tasty mix bus EQ. Tried it on my mix and just left it there, subtle, but tasty. I stopped doing top down mixing, but this one just works. Thank you.

The boost that actually cuts... BOOM.

Great video and great perspective.

I actually boost 300 in almost all my mixes via the pultec MEQ. Typically I’m taking that range out from individual tracks or on busses, but bringing it back on the master bus gives my mixes the glue I’m looking for in the lower mids

So, JP comes Up with a Lot of good and interesting mixing considerations and applications. This is NOT a Metal Mixing Channel 😉👍. Keep it up !

Ever since you mentioned you'd be doing this, I've been waiting for this video and it did not disappoint. Thanks, JP!!

Great video! This concept has really become a study for me. Even crazier, at least IMO, is how you can shape the two buss with one eq. For example, I tend to want to shape my low end a little, so at 105 hz, is a good place for me usually, but man going from Q of 0.6 to 1.6 - it'll drastically change the feel, listen for the sustain in the bass especially!! And keep in mind is it subtle moves no more than 1.5 db of gain! Your mix of course has to be really dialed in, but trust me, it'll change the feel of the mix a ton! Awesome video man!

What an unbelievably awesome video- its like this was made just for me. How am I just finding this channel?! More like this pretty please ❤ thanks!

Thank you for the insight and it was a joy to experience the exaltation you had putting the pieces together. Thank you for sharing!

Great new look J.P.
🤘🤘
Really enjoy all of your content man so thank you

8:09 "Aha!" half glass full / half glass empty moment 😂😂😂. This means that if you compensate the general output gain (in this case, -2.37 dBs), you would be technically cutting in the "gap frequencies". Amazing stuff!!!

Good video, JP.

Love your videos, you always point out super valuable ideas. Great stuff!

Very cool idea

Great video, J.P!

I Like the new camera view !!
The concept videos are an excellent idea....Keep up !!
