In this episode of "Rate My Rig," we’re finally tearing into the Axial SCX10 III Jeep CJ-7 project!

What started as an incomplete stripped-down eBay roller turned into a full-scale custom build. We address axle slop, dial in link and Panhard bar geometry, install Incision rod ends, drop in a 2-in-1 Spektrum brushless power system, wire up the dig and shift servos, and add Fine Laser Designs clipless body mounts.

Finally, we look at the complete cost breakdown—tallying up the initial roller price, electronics, transmission, and upgraded hardware versus buying a brand-new Ready-to-Run (RTR) model straight out of the box. Is building an incomplete roller worth the savings and hassle, or should you just buy the RTR? Let’s find out!
