There is barely any heat transfer in space.  The "boiling" part happens due to pressure.  Sunlight and waste heat are also a problem if you don't have a radiator.

Rimworld really is that person your significant other told you not to worry about

5:40 This has been my biggest pet peeve with RimWorld, not being able to quickly switch between clothing was EXTREMELY annoying to me, since I hate having pawns wearing armor 24/7 as it looks unprofessional and gets worn down over time

I'm excited to try a tribal nomad adventure with the new caravans

I can already see it, organic insect ships, modified nuclear engines from rimatomics, different types of canons from ce, pycast drainer beam, and possibly the revival of zombieland!!!

Out of all the mods to be added, I'd never expected Infusion to be it.

Hopefully this makes for a more offensive style gameplay loop. Rimworld has always been about defending your colony but there isn’t much to do in the means of taking over other colonies.

This will affect the trout population

This dlc looks awesome but i hope the next one goes the opposite way in the tech tree. The pre industrial/neolithic is my favorite part of playing so I'm hoping for something like medieval overhaul. Either way I'm glad we're getting new stuff!

I'm excited about a more realistic space. You won't freeze out their, you'll boil to death. Space doesn't really have a temperature, and there's nothing out there. Meaning there's nothing to remove your heat that builds up from activity. On earth you have micro particles that all absorb your ambient temperature, cooling you down. That doesn't exist in space. Space being considered freezing was something that bothered me about SOS.

Oh, those mushroom lands sound like a good place to build a dwarf colony.

As a RimCasual I think this DLC is all I wanted. Much needed motivational boost after the 'one playthrough and never again' Anomaly !

The RA3 quote only works when you ham it up Noobert! Lean into the madness! It. is. SPAAAHHHCCE!

5:08 I thought they pulled a full meal from the river, imagine getting a full 3 course meal from looking at some reeds in a swamp

I knew the chance of there being mechanitor content from the Odyssey end game quest was low, given their desire to minimize DLC dependency, but that won't keep me from being kind of bummed that we can't incorporate some piece of the mechhive's mind into our own system and grant infinite bandwidth or something.

Also the "get device that lets you drop hostile Mechs on yourself+others" sounds like a bit of a letdown compared to "become a void touched demigod."

Still sounds like a fun challenge though!

best DLC comeback every
and certainly best DLC of the bunch

I can already see the possibility of making xcom in rimworld with the VFE deserters and gravship acting as the avenger from xcom 2

Typically enjoy your videos on Rimworld content, get a lot out of them! But this one felt a little bit scattered all over and hard to follow. Some chapter headings or proper spoiler warnings for particular sections would have been appreciated as well as I was hoping to not see the Mech Hive stuff spoiled until seeing it for myself.

Still love your vids and will keep watching, just wanted to throw in a splash of feedback!

That's why Randy kept giving self taming chinchillas event, he was preparing us!
