I was originally going to skip the latter half of the video to avoid spoiling myself. Halfway through I realized I can't be spoiled because the plot makes no fucking sense

Im a finnish person like the developers of this game and the developers of Fear and Hunger and I am scared that I live among them

Now just take in the fact that there’s at least two puzzles in this game that nobody has been able to solve yet

25:54 Don't worry. I'll forget most of it before I play noita again.

This is one of those rare videos where you tap the screen and smile because there's more of the video left to watch

Noita is a confusing hellscape until you find a secret or two which enable your first god run and then realize that mortality is just a puzzle, and that the solutions are hidden everywhere. Then Noita becomes a confusing hellscape of your own making in which you strive for apotheosis

Watching a new player play noita after my 1400 hours in that game is half like watching your child take their first steps, and half like that one scene in Interstellar where he's yelling at himself in the past to not make this mistake

3:10 "...a fire demon that's equipped with a literal nuke"
No, no, that's not a literal nuke. There are literal nukes in the game though

Noita is so alchemy. Convoluted, cryptic messages that expect you to understand the code they talk i. Esoteric shit, so sad my pc isn't good enough

I realized that Noita wasn't for me when I got a wand that teleported me to more advanced regions randomly. There I experienced a bullet hell that made me feel sad and overwhelmed.

Remember:

"The sacrifice of oneself to the pursuit of knowledge
is the highest tribute to the gods."

the hardest hitting line to say that even dying to your own curiosity means you are progressing

Absolute Noita

noita "puzzles" arent relly puzzles, they are cryptids, i highly doubt the developers expected lone players to solve any of the convoluted puzzles, its meant to be solved by the community at large, and to this day there are still cryptids that have not been solved.

This game helped me realize my autistic brother is actually a future genius. He was only 8 when he got this a few years ago and has dropped hundreds of hours into it. He's completed the main game and now he plays it with mods. He's practically non-verbal, but his reading comprehension is off the charts and you can see his creativity shine in games like this. Never play him in fighting games though. He'll make you cry.

Noita is one of those games you can spend a ton of time playing, watch a bunch of content from people like Albino, and still get blindsided by new secrets.

I got 200 hours into noita and realised i still hadn't really come close to being able to get anywhere near all the secrets and just threw in the towel. It's cool how enormous the game is and how convoluted its secrets are but just isn't fun enough repeating over and over to get to the end.

>Found a spell that spawns an ocean of Whiskey

>Went too far left and spawned 30 acid spewing monstrosities who melt most of my limbs off for the crime of going in a lateral direction

>Got electrocuted to death in my own vomit trying to pick up a stone emitting sparks

10/10

Damn I love these animated segments. The usage of multiple seperate images and paralaxing/camera movements really sells a 3D environment and you have done an amazing job of making them look like they all belong in the same space with colors and lighting. I have learned something from this, thank you

Yet another quality youtuber covers my personal favourite videogame of all time.

I can vouch for this video only scratching the surface of what's possible in this damn game, it may seem as though the contents are a massive spoiler, but instead of spoiling the "film's" plot, this video only offers you a ticket to watch the film while you were merely staring at its poster.

Yeah. I went in with the same level of "oh this is a roguelike with cool pixel mechanics" and was ripping my hair apart 40 hours later realizing I had only played like 20% of the game. Hamis 👍
