Soldering your own soldering station is kinda like needing scissors to get your new scissors out of their packaging.

Pro tip: When pasting, the leakage of paste off some of the pads and resultant bridging is caused by multi-swiping the stencil, you're forcing more and more paste down through the holes and under the stencil. By using a credit card you are not getting enough force down on the stencil to accommodate a single swipe only (the holy grail). Try "metal putty spatulas" and with a nicely secure pcb and stencil you'll get better more consistent results. Pretty good attempt though.......

I became aware of the AxxSolder around 2 years ago.. I think. I think I saw a video on YouTube of someone assembling it, I can't recall who was it. And I finally ordered the board from PCBway I think about 3 months after that. And I still haven't assemble it. Thanks for this video.. you've just reminded me.. and hope you don't mind I'm using it as a reference 😅. Thanks again.

I would be interested in a DIY kit being available. I would look at what some of the open source 3d printer projects do. There are Aliexpress sellers who will put together kits if there is a market for them. The good ones will be happy to work with the project to verify all the components are acceptable and send sample kits before making them available.

I solder since i was 13 years and still soldering (40+ years) and i always love to see when people know what they are doing, amazing job Tony, keep up your good work and can't wait for the next video when you gonna test that soldering station to the limit.
