Even though it's based on the television series from the 1960s, The Fugitive is on my list of '90s movies that should never be remade.

Love the scene where Sam hears the trickling water and realises Kimble went into the sewers which foreshadows Sam's ability to identify Kimble's location in the city using sounds of the El Train.

"Look on your map, if you want to know how to get there,". That line perfectly displays Gerard's no bullshit attitude.

The acting dynamics between the Marshalls in this movie is off the charts.
Humorous and looks like they have been friends and colleagues for ages.

Gotta love those thick forests, mountains, and towering dams that central Illinois is known for.

James Newton Howard’s music contributes a lot to the exciting experience of watching this!

James Newton Howard doing a very fine spin on Jerry Goldsmith’s style of scoring, particularly in this clip. He’s getting the Rambo: First Blood style of music down perfectly, especially since Stallone spent a lot of First Blood running from the cops.

See the helicopter landing at 2:42 ? Notice how close it is to almost crushing Tommy's foot as he steps out of the helicopter? I heard Tommy Lee recalling that when they were filming this shot, he very nearly almost lost his foot!

Close call for Tommy Lee Jones foot when he exits helicopter

One of my fav scenes. Seen this movie countless times but still on edge of seat this scene. Love that shot of Ford nearly exiting the tunnel then the helicopter descends, blocking his path, with that great score by james newton howard.  Ford was fantastic here. Really felt his panic and desperation.
