The descrition of the horrors in the camp saddens me greatly. I love the Jewish people, especially those who survived to tell the tale. God bless them and please hold those who perished in your arms.
The ending was not what I had expected but the movie was phenomenal. 👍👍👍
Instead of being scared of the monster, become a monster.
Concealing the finely disguised spell
Of his deeper guilt ridden private hell
From a self-mutilating penthouse cell
Where he could not even successfully sell
Truths he once so cleverly chose to quell
Having that unmistakable evidentiary smell
From the bombshell that he ultimately befell
About a place where he used to excel
Until he reached that last parallel
Of his long, long anticipated farewell..... 😋
In other words, as Goldman / Schell predictably admitted on regular occasion to his bizarrely fanciful dinner party attendees in this script, that "Ooooops, I've Done It Again"..... 🤣🤣🤣
Nonetheless, a so very well acted, though an almost over-dramatically "strained", shortened 1975 "redo" film, that falls a bit short of the real intensity of the famed 1961 "Judgment At Nuremberg". 👍
And the last scene of a pseudo "crucifixion" IN the glass booth was a bit of an over-the-top, even weird finale, IMO....!!!
👉 Was THAT meant to symbolize Germany's eerily self-aggrandizing "saintliness" of the Third Reich's barbarous history..... with eyes raised to a "god" that the Nazis insisted didn't even exist??? 🤔😵💫
