In this Beginner Design Series tutorial, I’m showing you how to take a few simple decorative wire links and different lengths of chain and turn them into a beautiful, wearable chain necklace!
We’ll start by making the three wire link designs used in the necklace, and then I’ll show you how to connect them with different lengths of chain.
But this tutorial is about more than just making one necklace. I want to encourage you to experiment with your jewellery components and discover your own designs! By laying out your links and chain in different arrangements, you can create a necklace that is completely your own.
The finished necklace can be worn on its own or layered with other necklaces for a beautiful layered look.
This is a great beginner wire wrapping project and a fun way to start thinking like a jewellery designer rather than simply following a pattern.
