Welcome back to the Beginner Design Series! πΈ
In this week's tutorial, we're making two new wire-wrapped link designs and exploring some simple ways they can be incorporated into your jewellery.
I'll show you how I used the daisy-style link in a bracelet design, giving you just one example of how this pretty link can be used.
I'll also show you how the second link can be incorporated into a clasp, demonstrating another way you can think beyond simply joining components together.
And there's more to come!
Next week, I'll be using BOTH of these new links, along with some handmade chain, to create a chain necklace design. So if you'd like to make the complete necklace, make sure you subscribe and come back for next week's tutorial.
The aim of my Beginner Design Series is to help you move from simply learning individual wire-wrapping techniques to using those techniques and components to create your own jewellery designs.
I hope this tutorial inspires you to experiment with these links and come up with your own ideas!
π If you enjoy the tutorial, please consider subscribing to Gumnut Lane Jewellery and turning on notifications so you don't miss next week's necklace design.
Happy wrapping!
