I buy clothing 3-6 months and up.Diapers sizes1,2,. Look at the registry and buy something. Giftcards are great. Give duke the money from the subscriber so the girlfriend can help pick out what they want.
Honestly you need to start buying things for your grandbaby. First time parents do not understand how expensive things for babies are. Get all the diapers whenever they are on sale, plus all the little things that babies need. Get a bit and small pieces series of videos for shopping for the baby girl. Duke can do his own video. Suggestion do a Amazon wish list for Duke's baby girl. Just do basic stuff to get him started. He is probably overwhelmed. I never buy newborn or 0-3 months stuff for new babies. I get diapers, wipes, undershirts, socks, blankets. If I buy any clothes I buy 6-9 months or 9-12 month outfits. Duke and the Mom need to check to see if they can qualify for a free car seat by taking a parenting class at a local hospital.
My youngest one was born in January, winter babies mostly stay in one piece clothing. Snuggie’s stuff to keep them warm. 🥰 I can’t wait till she comes and get your reaction. Are you going to be able to babysit and all, cause the stuff you buy second hand can stay at your place and you will be prepared. She also hasn’t had her shower and you really don’t know what her family and friends are going to bless her with!
I think it would be cool if you do a recap haul at end of the things you buy at thrift stores. Especially your mom she has such a good eye!(you to Shay you get it from your mama!)
What a good idea is is to get multiple sizes. Have everyone get a different size because babies grow Fast that way you’ll have zero months two months three months six months seven months. It’s best to do it like that instead of getting too much of the baby stuff.
Good evening ladies Instead of grocery shopping the next time why don't you just shop for your grandbaby? You can hide the stuff in your room until the Baby shower which is right around the corner .
