I was totally anti narcissistic in my early 20s thinking I had to save everyone and I wasn't a "good person" if something bad happened. Then a very wise therapist came along and said to me "don't you think it's a bit narcissistic to think like that." And bam it was like she slapped me in the face with reality. 10 years later I've realised my mother has put a lot of her insecurities and emotions on me. Oh well.

14:26 Wow!  Thank you for pointing this out.  I have had depression for the longest time and I recognized the death drive (Thanatos) in myself for a long time.

I would like to be healed of my anti-narcissism.

You immediately made me think of the song "Son of nothing" by Electric Wizard

Do you feel the anti-narcissism mindset is a reaction to torture?

How does one bring resolution to this anti narcissistic problem?

"Where's your crown king nothing?"

Metallica

Can the desire for attention in the anti narcissist be absent?

Professor, are there any therapeutic recommendations for self-proclaimed anti-narcissists? Maybe a lobotomy?
