Educated guess for dimensions. He said to turn up 9” for the pockets. 9 + 9 =18 for front and back of each pocket x 2 = 36 inches. Maybe 5”-6” center overlay to hang over the front bar of the walker? Add that to the 36” plus 1” for the short ends 1/2” seam allowance. 36 + 5/6 + 1 = 42/43”. With a width of fabric WOF measurement of 44/45”, removal of each selvage edge by 1/2” to 3/4” or so, gets you close to the 42/43”. So use WOF as the cut length measurement. Cut width measurement guess is 15/16” based on other walker bag tutorials I have seen, again 1/2” seam allowance as stated. The WOF for heavier fabric may be greater than 44/45”, adjust accordingly.
