Suhr make good guitars. They also support their products after the sale as well. I've had issues on two Suhr guitars that required them to go back to the factory (one where the neck warped and the other that didn't have properly leveled frets). They fixed both of them for free.

I have a Larry Carton Sire New Generation S7 Guitar and it is high quality. I love the pickups, SS with HH at the Bridge
Great guitar.

I'm 69 and have been through a lot of guitars, only keeping ones that got USED hard. A few years ago I bought a new butterscotch Suhr Type T, and then a pair of Classic Smodels. The thing I was looking for was stainless steel frets, I wear nickel frets out and I always live a long drag of a drive to a hopefully decent luthier to level and dress or replace. My 1987 American Standard Strat is on its third set of frets. Suhr's SS frets on all three of my Suhr's are excellent and fret wear hasn't started yet though I've played the heck out of them. Also, all of mine have quarter sawn maple necks, which is an upscale standard feature that they don't mention. I hope Suhr never gets into the low end like PRS SE, we need to have someone building guitars that are at that level with pride instead of corporate generic volume management. Suhr rocks.

Great review, thank you, and great playing! I agree completely. Got one today, took it home, and couldn’t stop playing and enjoying its superb playability, versatility and great sounds. Did not even bother to tune it, as it was and stayed in tune and was superbly set up. It’s right there at the top for me, too.❤

I've been playing 42 years and have gone through hundreds of guitars. The only thing comparable to my Suhrs are my Tom Andersons.

I love my Suhr Classic S Antique, just I replaced the bridge pickup for a SSV+ for a little more gain and now is my main guitar
