Vercetti Estate balcony would be such a gorgeous accessible area, should've have it as an option where you go on a pink highlight inside the mansion next to the window and you spawn there

An interiors comparison video with VCS would be interesting.

20:34 the Cuban outfit is actually placed in front of the entrance of the building in the final build, UNLESS you complete Cop Land, No Escape or The Job after Two Bit Hit. These missions mistakenly place the outfit pickup back into its old location since the devs forgot to update those instances. It's a pretty well known and annoying bug.

GTA Vice City was one of the first GTA games I played. I remember how I would spend whole days feverishly poring over the map, exploring it in the hope of discovering new interiors. Since they were so rare, all these interiors seemed mysterious and mystical to me.

7:02 That's the LOD of the mall interior which is used because its roof is transparent.

That Ocean Beach hotel balcony would have been great, sad it never made it

The Front Page Cafe interior is actually in san andreas as another unused interior, it's fully furnished with a small exterior section too but the collision isn't all that great

The Front Page Cafe exist in Vice City Stories that intended to be used in cutscene for cut mission but it was cut in the final. According to myth hunter, the Front Page Cafe that they called "The Matrix House" because there's a texture similar to the Matrix movie along with cut interior.

Great showcase! Thanks for in depth video Mat🎉

Wish every house interior was like this. Many houses in 60s and 70s were a vibe. 80s were wooden amd 90s only concrete.

most of the unfinished ideas and cut content probably was - like many people are pointing out - due to the limited development time - especially regarding the claims that Rockstar had started Vice City as an GTA III-DLC / Expansion Pack before turning it into it´s own full game.

The building straight ahead in the alleyway when you first take control of Tommy when you start the game if you head towards it and look at the window textures it has a real life picture of a window reflection from a real store reflecting the outside and can see a modern truck and car in the texture pic which I found funny
