Being a sekiwake, defeating yokozuna 4 times is a super talent!

おめでとう。ウクライナのみんなに喜んでほしい。

Aonishiki needs to stay healthy so he can become the next yokozuna. Praying that he is injury free.

Aonishiki and Ura might have been my favorite bout. Really enjoyed their athleticism and respect afterwards. <3

Aonishiki and Onosato’s bout should’ve been a rematch

あの巨体とパワーで下から下から攻めるスタイル。そりゃ強いわ。

He is the best technical Rikishi we have currently. His diversity and execution is second to none.

Him going to hug his friend at the end is so heartwarming.
Man I’m only into sumo since a month but already so proud of this man.

Congratulations, Aonishiki. Your feat is a great encouragement to your countrymen and your country. Long live Ukraine. Wishing you more future achievements.

Hiradoumi looked like he was Wrestling with like 4 Different Rikishi at the same time 😂😂

How exciting to see all Aonishiki's bouts in sequence. Thank you, Mawashi Show!

It's amazing to me how well Aonishiki held up throughout the whole tournament. So many of his matches ended with him roughly falling from the dohyo. The guy is built like a tank.

Aonishiki carefully studies his individual opponents. He learns faster about them than they learn about him. It makes sense that if you are flexible yourself, you profit more from studying your opponents habits.

It's incredible to watch how Aonishiki grabbed Yusho and 15 bouts in one shot. We are very proud of Aonishiki . And thank you, The Mawashi Show !!!!

Love me some Ura. He walks like a kid at the city pool that has been told not to run! lol

He crushed and humiliated the Yokozuna in the final play-off. So determined.

Seriously, to reach ozeki rank with a yusho and NEVER having a single-digit-win tournament in the top two divisions is absolutely insane. If he keeps this up, and there is absolutely no indication that he shouldn't, we'll have the first European yokozuna on our hands!

I was really scared that he might have injured his wrist during the Takayasu bout. Even with the padding on the outside. Amazing basho and I hope he can reach Yokozuna.
