I hate the trope when the girl version of the male character is just a generic girl with an hourglass figure and long hair when the male character had a different bodytype

Love that you actually took into account how the characters and their stories would possibly differ based on them being the opposite gender! The last one is definitely my favorite purely because of how many creative liberties you took- of course a slimmer man disguised as a feminine slasher would give off wayyyy different vibes than a woman disguised as a hulking male one.

It'd honestly be hilarious if it was the other way around. All the male versions are just generic buff guys and the women are horrifying eldritch entities lol (awesome art as always!!!!)

I always thought it was weird whenever there are genderswaps of male characters and they're always attractive woman. The guys could be literally a crusty old dude and they'll still do it.

I love the Beetlejuice interpretation.  Definitely feels like someone who would be just as charismatic and gross with no boundaries as the original.  The sand worm is the cherry on top,

I hate how we can't just let girls look horrifying because it will be "woke" if we don't give them the most cutest look

Can you do pinup versions of the actual male horror characters in the same poses and outfits as the Bishoujo figures? Pretty please 🥺

While I like the school nurse reimagining of a gender swapped Freddy, I think a lunchlady could also work well because such a job is often looked down upon, just like Freddy's janitor job. It could also add a more sinister explanation to how she disposed of her victims and how she got away with her crimes

I find it really fun when genderbends are taken more seriously like this! I especially like it when people try to find opposite-gender equivalents for things, it tends to lead to quite interesting ideas. I think it would be cool if you did more genderbends in the future, if you can think of any more types of characters you'd like to explore from this angle :>

I absolutely ADORE when people do genderswaps but dont just make the characters muscular to be masculine or super skinny to be feminine! I love that you actually did research for this, and tried to do an honest attempt at swapping the genders of characters

Lottie has a concept that is waaaaay scarier than Chucky, because it's so ridiculous when a grown adult is struggling to defeat a toy in a fight. Like... It's a toy! But hearing the doll tell you about all the pills that she has already fed you without you noticing, now that sounds horrifying.

i think they need to rebrand them as "horror characters as cute girls" like how you'd name stuff,, cus thats the best way to describe them !!

15:42 I looked this up and it is absolutely heartbreaking, apparently the owner didn't even know it's what they were going to do

That is absolutely devastating

jesus christ I had no idea they killed a real snake in Friday the 13th, that's AWFUL. I've never seen it and am definitely not going to now. All the redesigns are amazing and I love how much thought was put into the reasoning behind how they would be changed and why!

the idea of Freddy Krueger no longer having burns if he were a girl is some crazy work. Like I know realistically they put literally 0 thought into it past "lets make a hot figure" but still, it makes for an interesting (albeit sad) thought case on enforced beauty standards.

the sandworm boa is EVERYTHING, i'm obsessed with your female beetlejuice like let her be nasty

I remember when I was looking at the GORGEOUS mlp figurines they have I was jumpscared by sexy beetlejuice and freddy kreuger it was more terrifying than any of these horror movies (joking obviously)

I can’t be the only who hates when a character is gender swapped from male to female and all their personality disappears from their character design. There age is changed, their muscle disappears, their scars disappear, they wear the same style of clothes, and they have a perfect hourglass body no matter what (Im looking at you One piece).

I think Childs play would probably be taken a lot more seriously if it gender swapped
