Yeah some dealers ask your weight and set it up. Others have no clue. Huge difference

Hey John I heard in the harley manual they got the front fork adjustments backwards check it out make sure you get the right info brother it was on Stefans garage video  just letting you know

Hey John if you put a zip tie on your front forks they will move once you brake. You can then measure each side to check your settings are equal.

Awesome video again brother!! I couldn't help but notice, that you have 1903 Spray On Polish on your shelf. I literally just ordered some myself lol. That's so cool lol. Can't wait to see the upcoming videos.  Keep up the great work and always ride safe brother 💯 🤘🏻

Thank you for the insight, but I’m going to use my ratchet wrench lol

I  see. That Blue Quadlock  light on.

Thank u for this information

YES on the Road Glide the front adjustment is exposed. Thanks for a nice video 🤘

Great set up videos.

Excellent video, very easy to follow , you have a great looking CVO and I can’t wait to see the next video. Thank you

Now I just did the front like you did and I just took it for a ride and the shocks are going down a little less than halfway. I wiped the oil off like you did and it’s a little less than halfway now.

The thing to look for is how controlled it feels, meaning when you hit a dip it shouldn't feel washed out, it should feel firm and controlled and you shouldn't have following bounces from a hit. Bigger dips, a whoop in the road should be a good indicator, it should follow the road and not bounce you off it or pogo a few times after the hits.

Basically every bike, unless it has electronic suspension like the BMW ESA system, you should look into doing this. Some bikes are fully adjustable, some only have preload or preload and rebound but they are all worth looking at.  Preload alone can make all the difference in how a bike handles because it sets the balance of weight front to back.

John according to Stephan who yo know from Wilbers said that the Harley manual is incorrect for your compressing and dampind. If i'm not mistaking watch his video on the new STJust a heads up.

Might have been easier to take off the handlebars and then do the settings.

I never knew you could adjust the front suspension 🤷 Is that only on the CVO Models?

👍👍

I thought 1903 was out of business?   Where can i get it?

If you can't determine which end to adjust you don't need to be fooling with it

EzPass question: do the toll booths read your EzPass with it in the drawer?  I used to put mine in the top of the saddle bag lid on my 2018, and sometimes it would get read and most of the time it wouldn't.
With my CVO SG ST, I've just been putting it in my shirt pocket...

what grips are those on the Bars ?
