Could listen to Chris tell Rickson stories all day long.

I really enjoyed that conversation. But is that really resonated as an older grappler myself. Thank you all.

Rickson is a legend. I have both of his books. He's the reason I started Jiu Jitsu. Great episode. On another note, if I close my eyes, Chris's voice sounds almost exactly like Dominic Cruz.

I remember meeting Rickson, before there was such thing as the UFC. I did his 2-Day ALL Day seminar twice. I could say much more...Just want to say Thanks to Chris, his wife, and interviewer, for this interesting Podcast! Rickson is an amazing person no doubt, a blessing to BJJ,wishing for his good and lasting health.

It sucks that after so many years I just now learned about Chris! What a true gentleman and martial artist!!

The "Funny Thing" with 2008's The Incredible Hulk is that in the movie's End Credits, Rickson Gracie's character is designated by "Aikido Instructor" .... 😉
If the "Production" didn't want to mention the term BJJ, they could at least have replaced "Instructor" with/by "Master"...
It's the least they could have done to honour this Exceptionnal and Legendary Person !!!

Great episode, Chris is as humble as you’ll get, always gives the credit and a legend himself by a country mile 🤙

Rigan Machado is who he is talking about early on.

these podcasts are great. They are the history and educational pieces that you can't find in a gym. I started in the 90s, and teach veterans for free now. im not a salesman, or great at branding, but i know where the art needs to go. thanks for the knowledge all ! Anthony Nelson

Pure gold. Melissa needs her own shirt/rash guard. Don’t wait a second longer.

Absolutely I fought 17 X in the UFC and I get excited about Rickson and I've heard several stories about how different he is and I know how this sounds but the way he just spoke and had a look in his eyes and he truly believes that no weight class no rules he walks out and I have been in the room with several world champions and no one has done at will to me as Rickson was able to.
In my opinion the greatest of all time
