This is a significantly better Detective game than the last one I played

The cute animal people having more realistic features under the magnifying glass was a nice detail, even if the human hands were slightly upsetting

What they don't want you to know is this is the sequel to Placid Plastic Duck Simulator

"Ducks are the only birds that can fly backwards." Hummingbirds would like to have a word.

Heya, Rufus VA here and Also Irishman, I hope you had a fun time playing Duck detective, the team did an amazing job putting all their hard work and effort into making this masterpiece and I hope you enjoyed it. You really quacked the case with this one pal. 🦆🦆🐧🐧

Fun Fact: The VA for the Duck Detective is Sean Chiplock who also voices Revali, Teba and the Great Deku Tree in BOTW.

Quite crazy to hear so many prominent voice actors in this short but loveable indie game that has a divorce plotline more compelling and engaging than Detective Pikachu!

Ducktective from Gravity Falls finally got that video game adaptation! How cool!

Fun facts:
- Salciccia comes from the word for sausage
- at least 31% of players arrested everyone

A divorced duck detective with “bread” problems and no money? This sounds like the kid friendly version of Disco Elysium

Fun Fact: I have a rare condition that makes me high when I eat bread. It’s called an Opioid Response, so I get it, Mr. Duck. I get it.

Why does it feel like this game was made specifically for RT
-Divorce
-Ducks
-Detective
-Addiction
-Manfred
-Voice actors he knows

I absolutely ADORE how the inspection mechanic shows that they have detailed art for things, so the very simple art style you see most of the game in is an extremely intentional choice! It's very cute and I just love the peek behind the curtain. Also maybe suggests the Ducktective is short sighted and needs the focus in to see these details?

Btw everyone, don't ACTUALLY feed ducks bread!! It's not good for them (no nutrition for them and fills them up) feed them like bird seed or fruit or whatever your local species eats👍

i'm kinda surprised rt didn't make a von karma joke when the one of the people was named manfred and was also the mastermind behind the whole crime

I can't believe Untitled Goose Game finally got a sequel!

divorced duck with a crippling bread addiction is my favorite character

@Riverr5 2 years ago (edited)

Bread addiction is a serious problem. I’m glad this game addresses that.
On a real note, don’t feed ducks bread. It doesn’t give them nutrients and make them feel full even though they need more nourishment.
